Sadly we have to report that Patricia West died in hospital only a few weeks after this event.

Pat was a dear and much loved member of our extended family. Sister to Janet, wife to Frank and mother to Susan and Robert. Her abiding love for all of her family was perhaps her greatest gift. However she also built a significant and successful career in nursing and, as well as the mourning of all of this family, has been mourned as well by the many she had trained, mentored and led during her career.
This is not the place and I am not the person to eulogise her beyond this short tribute. Enough to say that Pat will be missed and loved no less her absence than she was when she was with us. She lives with us in our fond memories of her.
(I have left these pictures up as I am sure no one, least of all Pat,  would wish them removed. Please enjoy without restraint - Pat would have wanted it.)
