The place is Lyng in Norfolk - other Lyngs are available! You can find it HERE and see some of its scenes below
One of our lanes looking leafy
Church path up to St Margarets
Manor Farm, a key site in the village centre
The fragmentary remains of the old Pirory off Rectory Road, Easthaugh
This is Sparham Pool, a much walked and loved area of wildlife. Formerly gravel quarries for the second world war airfields nearby, they are now managed by Norfolk Wildlife Trust
The pools are actually in the parish of Sparham because they are on the north bank of the River Wensum. But they are ours really!
St Margarets Church in the village, once dedicated to St Clements in connection with an ancient Priory nearby it is said.
Warm inside! This is The Fox and Hounds, our local. This was taken some time ago but the pub has not changed very much.
Cadders Hill in snow - one of Lyng's claims to fame and not just because this is Norfolk and WE haver a HILL...
...BUT because among other things it has hosted Moto Cross since 1936; this is the start of the 2012 Vikings meeting.
