Meet the dogs - and two cats
Peri the poodle - lovely chap until Sarah arrived, then snappy and re-homed.
Kari, a very fine Norwegian Elkhound. 1979-1986 (complications from hysterectomy)
Toby, the mostly liver Lab. 1979-1986 (kidney)
Henry, the Golden Retriever and a fine choice by Kate.
Henry was a very bright if at times wilful lad. 1986-1996 (heart)
Stan and Ollie, truly delightful Burmese. 1994-2004 (leukemia at different times)
Stan was the boss but he cossetted Ollie, who died first.
Digby, the GBGV who was a nice nature but very dodgy heart. 2005-2010.
The longer leg of the Grand Basset Vendeen is shown here - along with clues to his dodgy ticker.
But Digby was a very nice chap - he was very reluctantly put down in Spain
This is late in Digby's life and he looks like a sick dog - we did not notice soon enough perhaps.
And so we come to Ollie, the Petite GBV with genuine supreme champ connections.
Ollie is a lively and resourceful chap who cannot safely be let off the lead...
He is fascinated by everything, especially smelly animals...
He also lies around a lot, usually in the way...
The fringe is not really optional but Janet does occasionally attack it...
This was made for a different job but seems worth including
